PRINTING United Alliance to Hold CI Ready! Virtually

PRINTING United Alliance (Fairfax, VA) announced its CI Ready! event will be held virtually on April 19-22 from 2–3 p.m. EDT each day. The virtual conference event will have four sessions presented over four days that focus on ways to reduce operational costs, speed throughput, and boost customer experience and satisfaction.

Panelists include John Compton, Compton & Associates; Dan Markovitz, Markovitz Consulting; Dr. Alan G. Robinson, award-winning author and authority on corporate innovation and improvement; and Dan Rudnicki, Royal Containers, on the following topics:

• How CI “thinking” transforms printing companies and drives greater profit
• The principles of CI and Lean production
• Why starting with 5S is a smart approach and how to do it

Sara Skaggs

Sara Skaggs is an editorial intern for Signs of the Times, as well as Big Picture and Screen Printing magazines, two of Signs’ sister publications, for spring 2021. Sara is currently majoring in creative writing with certificates in journalism plus copyediting and publishing at the University of Cincinnati. She plans to use her degree to work as an author and in the editing/publishing industry – hopefully moving somewhere warm.
