Excellent Signs (London, ON, Canada) has been acquired by Lynx Equity Limited, a Toronto-based investment firm with a growing foothold in the sign and print industries.

The full-service signmaker primarily serves the southwestern Ontario market and works with clients including Cadillac Fairview, TD Bank, RBC and Cineplex.

Al Nasser, president of Meteor Signs (London, ON, Canada) – which was acquired by Lynx in 2021 – will be taking over as president for Excellent Signs, the investment firm said in a release.

“Excellent Signs is a perfect fit within the LSP and brings a niche level of expertise that is going to be highly complementary to the overall group,” said Mujtaba Abidi, mergers and acquisitions sssociate at Lynx. “Our strategy remains to further the growth of the signage portfolio with new acquisitions that align with our long-term vision.”

Lynx has multiple sign and print companies in its portfolio, including Austin Graphics, Country Signs and WSI Signs, all of which are based in Canada. The firm says it targets acquisitions of companies with earnings between $1 million and $5 million in Canadian dollars.
