Rainbow Technology Systems (Glascow, Scotland) is introducing its Panda Coater that offers high-performance coating for sheet and reel-to-reel materials. The company says the coater has multiple applications — digital graphics, electronics and other in-line coating treatments. The patented, smart-coating dispenser system applies a thin (4-20 microns), transparent, scratch and chemically resistant coating to the substrate which then passes through an integrated, controlled-environment, UV-cure tunnel and, upon egress, is ready for immediate use.
