On “2021 Makers of Tomorrow”
- Nice to see young people interested in the sign business. — Jean Shimp, Shimp Sign & Design, Jacksonville, Fl
- I’m loving reading their stories. I remember the enthusiasm I myself felt at their ages and find it inspiring and contagious. — Herbie Nally, Walldogs dba Mason Signs, Mason, OH
- Excellent idea. Great way to celebrate the next generation of sign artists, craftspeople and business owners. — Vince Cvijanovic, Graphic Components, Greensboro, NC
Neon Springs Eternal
- I have been glad to see the recent attention being given to neon. The LED bandwagon almost crushed this medium, but more-aware sign makers and lighting professionals are regaining confidence in the design opportunity neon offers, and the clients and public seem to be paying attention. — Skip Moore, Bill Moore & Associates Graphics, San Rafael, CA
- More neon articles please. Neon is far from dead. — Robert Burke, Burke Enterprise, Oakdale, CT
Laser Tips, Anyone?
- I have a direct-print Mimaki and a Trotec Laser to print onto clear acrylic and laser out the shapes. We do lots of signs, trophies, etc. I would like to see more laser tips and tricks reflecting equipment like that. — Geoff Orlick, Quality Designs, Campbell River, Bc, Canada
Content Request
- Is there is any way to help the smaller sign shops compare costs, material insurance and labor? The independent shops are pretty much on their own. — Doug Bray, Alpine Sign, Dallastown, PA
Seeking the Spotlight
- Still waiting on my cover feature. :). — Jim Dawson, Synergy Sign & Graphics, Strasburg, OH
