RTape 3-D Heat-Transfer Film

RTape Corp. (South Plainfield, NJ) is announcing FlexCut Sweet Puff polyurethane heat-transfer film. The film, when heated, puffs out to create a 3-D appliqué. Using a drag knife or tangential-knife plotter, the fabricator cuts the graphics in reverse. According to the company, spaces less than 1/8 in. wide will disappear after the film expands. The material is designed for application to cotton, polyester and blended fabrics (not nylon or coated fabrics). The lower the pressure during transfer, the more the material will expand. Available colors include white, lemon yellow, electric red, reflex blue, green and black.
