RTape (South Plainfield, NJ) is presenting VinylEfx® Brite Overall iridescent, silver film. According to the company, its enhanced tooling technology yields a better pattern and more radiant color display. The material features an invisible shim line, which reportedly enhances its holographic appearance. RTape offers VinylEfx media in Decorative and Durable series. The Decorative material is designed for tradeshow posters, POP and museum graphics, whereas Durable substrates may be used for outdoor graphics installed for up to three years. The media may be printed with full- or eco-solvent ink.

The company is also introducing GlowEfx™ photoluminescent film. The material provides a bright-white glow, and, according to the company, provides a glow that lasts an hour – a marked improvement over prior versions. The thin substrate is reportedly easier to plot and print on than comparable films, and its repositionable adhesive simplifies installation. It’s luminescent material is lead-free and non-toxic. GlowEfx is available in 15- and 24-in. widths, and 10- and 50-yd.-long rolls.
