Showcard Promotes Signpainter Movie’s LA Debut

If you haven’t yet seen The Signpainter Movie, produced by artist Faythe Levine and filmmaker Sam Macon along with a companion book, do yourself a favor and check it out when it comes to your city.

To promote the movie’s July 25 Los Angeles debut, Costa Mesa, CA artist James Roy Thomas created this retro, yet fierce, showcard. It’s always encouraging to see an artist preserve what’s believed to be a dying art. Legendary showcard artist Bob Harper must be looking down with a smile.
