Sign-A-Rama Downtown of Louisville Donates/Discounts Signage to 45 Nonprofit Groups

Sign-A-Rama Downtown of Louisville, KY is donating or discounting nearly $20,000 worth of signage to 45 nonprofit organizations as part of the franchisee’s third annual Signs of Support program. The recipients were treated to a celebration lunch on April 16 at the company’s store, 909 E. Market St. in an historic city section.

Owners Brian and Maggie Harlow created Signs of Support in 2007 to show support for local civic and charitable organizations that are deemed to have significantly impacted the Louisville community and its culture. Sign-A-Rama Downtown donates signage, graphics, displays and marketing products at a partial or no cost. Applications were received from 114 nonprofit organizations this year.

“The Louisville community is full of good people who are doing wonderful work,” Maggie said. “We have discovered over the years that there are many great organizations in Louisville worthy of support.”

Recipients included the local affiliates of the American Cancer Society; Big Brothers, Big Sisters; Boys and Girls Club, and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. For a complete list of the 2009 Signs of Support recipients, visit www.signaramadowntown.com/signsofsupport/index.htm.
