Sign Arts Products Sign*Foam 4 HDU

Sign Arts Products (Laguna Hills, CA) is unveiling Sign*Foam® 4 high-density urethane (HDU) for 3-D, simulated-wood-sign applications. Available in 15- and 18-lb. densities, the substrate includes the company’s Microcell technology, which reportedly provides a smooth surface texture with minimal prepwork, and requires fewer coats of paint. Sign Arts Products, the exclusive U.S. and Canadian distributor for General Plastics’ Sign*Foam, notes that its grain-free, small-cell construction enables numerous painting and finishing options, and saves labor time because it requires minimal sanding and, typically, no filling. The waterproof HDU is VOC- and CFC-free, and contains 16% recycled content.
