Sign*Arts Products Recycled-Content HDU

Sign*Arts Products (Laguna Hills, CA) is announcing an environmentally friendly reformulation for its Sign*Foam HDU. Beginning in January, the company began fabricating the substrate with a minimum of 16% post-consumer, recycled plastics. Given that a 4 x 8-ft. sheet of the company’s 15-lb. material weighs 60 lbs., 9.6 lbs. comprise recycled plastics. That’s the equivalent of 240 empty, plastic water bottles, with no perceptible changes to the board’s quality or physical properties, Sign*Arts Products reports.
