Signs Visual’s Backlit Signage

Signs Visual (New York) designed, produced and installed this 13-ft.-wide backlit signage for a fertility clinic’s reception desk in New York City. Signs Visual fabricated the letters out of painted stainless steel, and custom LED modules were inserted into the rear of the letters to match the 3500K temperature of the clinic’s other lighting fixtures. The letters were enclosed with a diffused back layer of ¼-in. P95 clear acrylic lens. For installation, Signs Visual drilled through the desk’s ½-in.-thick quartz stone to splice the wiring from letter to letter and, finally, into a power supply. “We engineered the signage so that the installation would be very efficient when it came to the wiring and electrical connections,” said Signs Visual owner/president Ken Khalfan.
