Signshop Named Business of the Year, Profiled on CBS News

Gelberg Signs (Washington) has been named the 2021 Business of the Year by the DC Chamber of Commerce.

In a release, the Chamber said the signshop received the award for its commitment to the community for the past 80-plus years. Also, the shop supported essential businesses during the pandemic by providing free signage to indicate they were remaining open.

The Chamber will honor Gelberg Signs during its annual 2021 Chamber’s Choice Awards & Gala on Friday, Nov. 19, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.

Additionally, the company was recently profiled by CBS News, which explained how it’s hiring more women for leadership roles.

Gelberg Signs’ work can be seen throughout the national’s capital city and in many of its major landmarks, including Ben’s Chili Bowl, the Verizon Center, the Nationals Ballpark, and both the Dulles and BWI airports.
