Sihl Digital Imaging (Chesapeake, VA) is announcing several additions to its inkjet-printing media lines. Illumina™ Semi-Gloss Canvas 3185 is a 19-mil canvas media with a microporous, quick-dry coating and bright-white finish. It’s designed for use with solvent or aqueous, liquid laminates.

The company is also releasing 3143 ColorMax™ 180, a bright-white, matte paper designed as an alternative to photopaper. It has an absorbent coating designed for quick drying and use with aqueous inkjet printers. It is available in roll sizes up to 60 in. x 100 ft., with a 2-in. core.

PolySol™ Display Films 3515 (7 mil) and 3516 (12 mil) are new polyester films for solvent and latex printing. Intended for POP and POS graphics, the films feature a low-glare, satin finish in 36 or 54 in. x 66-ft. rolls.
