Small-format Industrial Displays

Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas (Camas, WA) introduced four additions to its industrial LCD display suite. The offerings include 5.7-in., 3.7-in. and two 3.5-in models. The products’ enhancements include a transflective display technology that allows high contrast in outdoor, high-ambient lighting environments and chip-on-glass technology, which improves integration, compactness and durability for industrial grade displays. The product line also introduces the company’s first VGA-based LCD modules in the mobile industrial-size class. These panels are suited for such applications as test instruments, GPS devices, VoIP phones, portable gaming devices, portable monitoring devices and white goods.
