Dr. Graphix Imaging (Ontario, CA) is introducing its Solvent TR tear-resistant photo, gloss and satin paper. The 9-mil, polypropylene material was developed for piezoelectric and Zaar printhead technologies for all solvent printers.
The biodegradable product is waterfast for long-term indoor applications or short- to mid-term outdoor use. Built-in solvent deodorizers reduce the smell associated with some solvent printers.
Available in 2-in. core and 3-in. notched cores in 42-, 50- and 60-in. widths up to 150 ft. long, the paper can also be used with pressure-sensitive laminates.
The company is also introducing high-strength, solvent, PVC banner to its DelSOL solvents line. The gloss-finish material was developed for large- and grand-format solvent printers. The waterfast banner material doesn’t require lamination, can be sewn or grommeted, and can be used for interior and exterior signage applications. The 10-oz. and 13-oz. products are available in 38-, 54-, 60- and 72-in. widths with a 164-ft. length. The 10-oz. product is also offered in an 84-in. width. Custom sizes are available.
