SpeedPro Imaging, a sign franchise with 117 studios in 30 states, has relocated its corporate headquarters from Phoenix to the Denver area at 7000 S. Yosemite Street in Centennial. The new headquarters includes a training and technical-support facility and the latest printing and production equipment available throughout the SpeedPro network. The center offers training to new and existing franchisees nationwide, and introduces them to technology they will use in the field.
The move comes a little more than a year after company president and CEO Boris Katsnelson acquired the company from the original owner. His background is in finance and in helping companies optimize their businesses through strategic planning.
The franchise specializes in wide-format printing, from tradeshow and event graphics to vehicle graphics and wall murals. Nearly a third of its studios have opened in the last three years. Expectations are to open 20-25 new studios annually and have more than 200 operating units by 2020.
According to Katsnelson, We don’t really want them [franchises] to have sign and graphics experience,” he said. “We want executive-level people focused on quality and customer service and who really understand that. We educate them on the print side of the business.”
