Splash of Color’s HeatWave DFP-74

Direct-to-Fabric Digital Printer

Splash of Color (Richardson, TX), an authorized Roland Partner, is debuting the HeatWave DFP-74, a 74-in.-wide, direct-to-fabric printer. Based on Roland’s HeatWave sublimation technology, the DFP-74 prints directly onto polyester fabrics and other substrates. The printer can maintain image quality through long production runs at up to 548 sq. ft./hr.

The BU-1 bulk ink system features HeatWave SBL2 sublimation inks in one-liter bottles for unattended production printing. A clear, LED display facilitates ink-usage tracking.
