Outdoor media company Show Media (NYC and Los Angeles) placed a New York City taxicab advertising campaign for Epic Records’ alternative rock band The Fray. The rooftop posters, which have already generated considerable buzz among music industry professionals as well as the public, promote The Fray’s self-titled album, which debuted February 3, 2009.

Show Media’s placement of Epic Records’ promotional ads includes 200 taxicabs across Manhattan. The campaign, scheduled to run January 26-February 14, features creative from Epic Records’ inhouse agency.

Joe King, guitarist and co-founder of The Fray, said, “You know you’ve made it when you’re on top of a taxi in New York City!”
