Techno CNC Launches Atlas Series Routers

Techno CNC (Ronkonoma, NY) has introduced a new range of routers, the Atlas Series.

The Atlas Series uses precision helical rack-and-pinion drives on the X and Y axes; a ball screw on the Z-axis; a heavy steel frame and gantry with 7.5-in. of gantry clearance; and 9.5-in. of Z axis travel. Per Techno CNC, the Atlas Series is favored among signmakers because of the cut quality it provides in materials like plastics (e.g. acrylic and polycarbonate) wood, aluminum and foam.

According to the company, the preferred size for signmakers is the 5 x 10-ft. model, but 4 x 8 ft. and 4 x 4 ft. models are also available. The Atlas is equipped with an industrial grade 4 HP HSD air-cooled spindle, suitable for cutting hard woods, plastics, and aluminum.
