Tesla Cybertruck Crashes Into Beverly Hills Hotel Sign

A Tesla Cybertruck crashed into the Beverly Hills Hotel sign on the night of Sunday, March 3, according to USA TODAY.

The vehicle jumped the barrier and ran into the pole underneath the sign. The Beverly Hills Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash and whether anyone in the Cybertruck sustained injuries. The hotel sign does not appear to be damaged in videos taken at the scene.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded to news of the crash on X the following day, stating, “Cyberbeast is faster than a Porsche 911, but looks like a truck so perhaps the valet wasn’t expecting so much acceleration.” According to Beverly Hills Hotel, no valet or hotel staff was involved in the crash.
