The Wrap Experience Planned for ISA Expo

The International Sign Association (ISA; Alexandria, VA) and The Wrap Institute (TWI; Carrollton, TX) will team up for wrap-related events at the ISA International Sign Expo 2024 in Orlando, FL April 10-12, according to a press release from ISA.

The Wrap Experience at the ISA Sign Expo will include the Never Stop Learning contest, in which three instructors train teams in wrap skills. At the end of each round, the teams will be judged on the quality of the wraps, while the instructors will be critiqued on their teaching abilities.

The Wrap Experience also will include a dedicated area of the trade show floor with wrap products, including substrates and tools, according to the press release.

A pre-conference workshop on April 9, Business Bootcamp for Wrap Professionals by Avery Dennison, will help attendees tackle the business challenges unique to the wrap world.

The wrap community came together earlier for the inaugural The Wrap Experience Summit in Alexandria, VA for a three-day intimate setting for networking and learning. The event was an extension of a partnership between ISA and TWI to develop programming for the wrap segment of the sign, graphics and visual communications industry, according to the release.

“This beta event was designed to help ISA and TWI better understand what this segment needs to grow professionally and sustainably,” Craig Campbell, ISA’s vice president of business development, is quoted in the press release. “Based on what we learned at the inaugural The Wrap Experience Summit, we will continue to develop valuable resources to this vital segment of our industry.”

The event included panel discussions by industry peers, roundtables that tackled pressing issues, and networking appointments to create and build relationships.
