This Florida Sign Pro Has Productivity Down to a Mathematical Science

Greg Gimbert
Southeastern Lighting Solutions
Daytona Beach, FL

The secret to Greg’s work-life balance is productivity, “the only true variable in our shared 24- hour day,” he says. Greg “prepays” two hours for deep tasks every workday prior to normal starting time, which at least doubles his productivity because those hours are without interruptions, he says. Applied five days a week, he figures his time investment yields an additional 80 functional productivity hours per month. “That’s huge,” he says. Greg spends his hard-earned free time relaxing at the beach with his family and riding dirt bikes with his son. “Boundaries and mental health breaks are essential,” Greg says. “Productivity increases make them possible.”
