Traxon Dot XL LED Solution

Traxon Technologies Ltd. (Hong Kong and East Rutherford, NJ) is launching the Dot XL, an IP-67-rated, ultra-bright, outdoor solution. Suitable for architectural applications with full-color lighting effects and video animations, the multi-functional lighting fixture is equipped with six or nine, high-performance LEDs per casing, mounted on a flexible cable. The scalable system offers a customizable, pixel-pitch option.

Embedded in a casing that ensures outdoor capability, the fixture’s die-cast aluminum base guarantees maximum heat dissipation. The individually controllable dots allow for an application in bright sunlight, rain or any extreme weather condition, the company reports.

The system contains up to 32 dots (9 LED) or 40 dots (6 LED) per cable. The dots are controllable by DMX- or DVI-input signals, which enable the replay of video content and live-stream input. Offer the possibility of daisy-chaining, the Dot XL is suitable for large-scale media installations that require a sustainable lighting concept.
