Ultraflex (Randolph, NJ) is introducing Strip Mesh Pro LTX, a printable mesh material designed for latex-ink printing (the media may also be used with solvent, eco-solvent and UV-cure-ink printing). The 9-oz. material includes a backing layer that may be removed after printing, which creates an airtight surface that prevents ink spray and allows vacuum-equipped printers to hold material flat during printing. Strip Mesh Pro LTX provides 25% flow-through of air, and is designed for fence graphics, outdoor banners, building wraps and street banners installed in high-wind areas. The company offers the material 54-126-in. widths.

Ultraflex is also unveiling TrueCanvas Giclée, an 11-oz., canvas material designed for art reproductions, wall murals, banners and backdrops. The substrate comprises 65% polyester and 35% cotton blend; the gesso-coated material may be folded and expanded on industrial canvas stretchers without cracking, the company reports. The heavy metal-free, pH-neutral material offers crisp detail and a consistent, coating-gloss level. The media may be printed with solvent-, eco-solvent, latex- and UV-cure-inks, and is sold in 54- to 80-in. widths.
