USSC Announces 2017 Sign Design Contest Winners

The United States Sign Council (USSC; Bristol, PA) recently announced the winners of its Sign Design Content, an annual event that honors signs that “demonstrate excellence in client identification, creative graphic expression, and a combination of materials and/or techniques.” The hundreds of entries were grouped into 12 categories and judged on appearance, effectiveness and originality.

Judges for the contest were Joe Diaz of Diaz Sign Art (Pontiac, IL), Francis Lestingi of Signs of Gold Inc. (Buffalo, NY) and Dan Sawatzky of Sawatzky’s Imagination Corp. (Chilliwack, BC, Canada). Awards for this year’s Sign Design Contest will be presented to the winning designers at USSC Sign World International 2017, which will be held at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, NJ from Nov. 30 through Dec. 2.
