UV-LED Curing Association Formed

Integration Technology Ltd. (Chicago), Lumen Dynamics (Mississauga, ON, Canada) and Phoseon Technology (Hillsboro, OR) have formed the UV-LED Curing Assn. that plans to help define and establish UV-LED-based guidelines for LED-lamped, UV-cure applications, such as EFI Vutek’s new, GS3250LX printer (pictured) that, the manufacturer says, is designed to lower the total cost of ownership over the printer’s lifetime.

A spokesperson from the new association said it would focus only on UV-LED curing technology and its applications, but will also facilitate information exchanges, complement existing organizations and address market needs. Email info@uvledcuring.org or visit www.uvledcuring.org.
