3M Graphics Market Center (St. Paul, MN) is introducing the 3M™ Vehicle Channel Applicator Tool VCAT-2, a bevel-edged foam roller that reportedly saves installation time. The tool features a beveled router that helps conform heated films to most vehicles’ channels and contours. The company recommends using a heat gun and warming the film to approximately 180ºF and use the V-CAT to conform the film at a rate of 2 in./second.
