Watchfire Signs (Danville, IL) has announced that Luminous Neon, with locations throughout Kansas, is the Grand Prize winner of the 2023 Watchfire LED Sign Awards. Watchfire recognized the company for its contributions to the sign industry for The Clayworks, Hutchinson, KS, an entrepreneurial venture of Disability Supports of the Great Plains — according to a press release from the company.
Founded in 2014, the annual awards recognize on-premise signs installed annually between Sept. 1 and Aug. 31 that display excellence in design, legibility of digital messages and advertising effectiveness. The winning sign at The Clayworks is a re-imagination of an existing monument display featuring an internally illuminated double-faced routed push-through logo cabinet that sits atop two new 4 ft., 5 in. x 8 ft., 3-in. Watchfire 6mm digital signs. The previous sign Luminous created for The Clayworks in 2017 was a Gold Award winner in the 2018 Watchfire LED Sign Awards.
