Watchfire Part of Las Vegas Fremont Street Canopy Renovation

Watchfire Signs (Danville, IL) announced that work has begun on the renovation of the canopy that comprises the Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas. Federal Heath (Las Vegas) is heading up the $32 million, world’s largest single video screen, according to Watchfire, which is manufacturing the canopy s display components.

Installation of the first of eight sections was completed in under a month, with all work happening during overnight hours, so the area s daytime and early evening tourist attractions can remain open and running. The new canopy will have four times as many pixels, will be seven times brighter, and will even be able to run during the day, according to David Warns, Watchfire’s vice president of on premise sales, at April s ISA Sign Expo. The display will be completed near the end of 2019.
