Which Light Source is Best? You Decide.

Sick of seeing poorly lit signs?  Know a few tricks about lighting other signshops are missing?  Ready to share your expertise?

Take our 12th annual Lighting Survey and share your thoughts about lighting used in signage applications.

The 11th annual survey was published in our May 2010 issue, so significant changes may have occurred since then. Please respond so that we can present the most accurate description of how on-premise signs are now being illuminated. The more companies that respond, the better the information we can share. The results will be presented in our December 2011 issue.

Even though 2011 hasn’t been completed yet, please answer the questions with your best guess for the complete 2011 year. The questions will be virtually the same as last year, so every table of new findings can be compared with the results from prior years. We want to know, and share with you, how sign companies currently use neon, fluorescents and LEDs (although this survey doesn’t really concern electronic message centers, for which the illumination is an integral part, not an optional component).

We intentionally scheduled it for late this year so as not to conflict with our annual Electric State of the Industry report, which annually appears in our July issue. For that study, because we want to estimate the size of the on-premise, electric sign industry, we don’t really want responses from wholesalers. However, for this Lighting Survey, we cordially invite wholesalers to respond as well. Go to the link below to participate:
