Of course, the Jackson family decorates their own home. “There were over one million light bulbs on this house and counting,” Daniel says of this photo from last year.

A crew needs a truck and trailer and both of those need nifty wraps. Daniel and fellow installer Ricky Rodriguez wrapped the self-designed job in a day.

Mr. Twinkle, logo-mascot for The Jackson Lighting Crew, is no “little star.” Everywhere he goes, Daniel says, “when the kids see this truck, they are just all about him.”

At first, Daniel placed signs on his clients’ properties, like many other services trying to get their name out there. More recently, excellent word of mouth and a Facebook page have eliminated the need for the signs. And that’s a sign company behind that decision!

The children of the crew do many behind-the-scenes jobs, such as getting rolls of lights and screwing the bulbs in, helping to load the trailer and more. I like how one is supervising from the truck.

Here’s one more house decorated by The Jackson Lighting Crew. Look closely and you’ll see two pumpkins, which tells you how early many of these lights go up.

The crew works more than residential homes. Check the corner accent lighting for the local Majestic Theatre. “We also do wedding/backyard lighting,” Daniel says. “Anything you can put lights on.”
