Signs of the Times magazine’s annual commercial sign design contest, which is published in its December issue, brought in 272 entries this year. The judging, held at MPI Studio–an Internet design firm in Cincinnati, OH–was based on detail, concepts and effort and judges highlighted their choices with handcrafting, ingenuity and freshness.
Judges for the contest were Paula Murrer, Express Service Signs and Graphics; Jim "Dauber" Farr; Michael Beeghly, FRCH Design Worldwide; and Justin Green.
