FIRST PLACE
This double-faced monument’s and tower’s classic lines attest to the sign company’s name. The Centerra monument’s buffsandstone base offsets an aluminum cabinet with raised, reverse channel letters overlaid with a 3-D, carved Sign•Foam®
HDU. The letters are illuminated with Voltarc’s 4500k, white, mercury/argon tubing. The logo, pushed-through clear acrylic, is illuminated with internal, coolwhite, high-output fluorescent lighting. The tower comprises cast concrete and faux-painted Matthews acrylic polyurethane (M.A.P.) bronze and gold panels, with reverse channel letters. The 12-ft.-diameter, aluminum-fabricated, lantern atop the sign illuminates the stone with amber-LED down lighting. The lantern is faux painted with amber LED strip lighting by American Lighting.
SECOND PLACE
This double-faced, main-identification monument introduces a commercial park. Flat, cutout, ¼-in. aluminum letters, finished with Matthews black-satin enamel, contrast with the custom-fabricated, center-curved, anodyzed-aluminum face. The surrounding area is finished with Matthews brushed, aluminum enamel paint. The background, vertical towers and base are also finished with Matthews enamel. “East Group Properties” comprises anodized aluminum. Flood illumination provides nocturnal visibility.
THIRD PLACE
Steaks and seafood attract diners to this upscale restaurant, but this distinctive, monument sign also entices business. Reverse
channel letters with EGL 8300K argon/mercury tubing play against the aluminum cabinet, faux-finished with M.A.P. paint. Exposed Tecnolux 15mm red tubing provides border accents. The Optec, double-faced message board feature red, monochrome LEDs.
