Signs of the Times is proud to announce the winners of the 2026 Women in Signs awards. Sponsored by the International Sign Association, A.R.K. Ramos, LC Sign Co. Ltd., SAi (SA International), Vanguard Digital Printing Systems and Zund America, Inc., the sixth-annual program honors exceptional women who have excelled in ownership/management, fabrication, installation, design, sales or marketing.

The 2026 winners are …

  • Cathie Bozman, owner, Bozman Sign Co. (Nashville)
  • Lynsey Washington, senior project manager, Signarama Lancaster, PA
  • Judy Shano, president, Associated Sign Co. (Phoenix)
  • Dee Burkhardt, owner, Signarama (Fond du Lac, Appleton and Menomonee Falls, WI) and YESCO Wisconsin (Fond du Lac, WI)
  • Heather Kincaid, owner, Kinly Signs dba Signarama River Cities (South Point, OH)

In February, we put out a call for nominees who spurred innovation, fueled business growth or otherwise made a significant, positive impact within their sign company, industry association or sign-associated philanthropic organization. We received a staggering 308 nominations for 140 individual nominees throughout North America.

After we narrowed the field to the 30 most impressive nominees, our industry panel of esteemed judges — all of whom were winners in 2025 — chose the five recipients using a points-based system.

Thank you to our 2026 judges:

  • Sarah Flax, director of supply chain, Cima Network Inc. (Chalfont, PA)
  • Mallory Lynn, marketing manager, Signarama Brighton (Brighton, CO)
  • Torey Rouillon, director of project management, National Branding (Troy, MI)
  • Lauren Terwilliger, owner, Pocono Sign Co. (Lakeville, PA)
  • Ashley Baumeister, production/installation manager, Fastsigns Clearwater/Largo (Clearwater, FL)

The 2026 Women in Signs winners will each be featured in STs April issue, as well as online, and will be celebrated during a cocktail reception at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 9 at the ISA International Sign Expo in Orlando, FL. Congratulations to the winners, thanks to our judges, our sponsors and all who participated, and stay tuned for more details.
