Rachel Ray, whose career has ascended from a hotel-pub manager into a Food Network and Cooking Channel fixture, has grown her “brand” into a daytime talk show. As part of her show, she unveiled “Makeover Takeover,” which provides selected Philadelphia fans with makeovers for their homes and wardrobes.

To promote the event, Ray’s marketing company hired Millville, NJ-based Designer Wraps to create an 800-sq.-ft wrap for a Winnebago that travelled from NYC to Philadelphia touting the event. Sean Tomlin, owner of the four-plus-year-old service provider, said the client found his shop through an online search.

After tweaking the furnished graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Designer Wraps output the wrap, which entailed printing 10.5 panels for either side of the RV, on its Mutoh ValueJet 1614 64-in. printer using Avery’s MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply™ RS air-egress, cast media. Avery’s DOL 1360 cast overlaminate helps the graphics maintain their zip.

“One of the most challenging parts of the job was turning the job around in the required, three-day window,” he said. “But, we had the talent and tools to finish on time. When wrapping an RV, it’s pretty straightforward to align the panels vertically.”
