Material Solution
- We have a good customer that among all the projects we do for them, they needed us to print on small paper strips. Wanting to keep them from looking elsewhere, we tried it: .56 x 2.25 in. and some even smaller. Sizing is critical to fit the carriers they use. Printing was not an issue. But cutting! The Roland could not do it, nor our plotter because of the thinness of the paper and the small size. The wife of our production manager heard of our problem and came up with a solution: Cricut Standard Grip Machine Mat. After a little testing to get the depth correct, this works like a charm going through the plotter. The mat holds its place without leaving any residue. — Ted DeWitt, Signarama Covina, Covina, CA
