Bear Market

Set on approximately 200 acres, Chicagoland’s Brookfield Zoo provides abundant opportunities for kids of all ages to learn more about flora and fauna. The Great Bear Wilderness Trail, the largest exhibit ever built at the zoo comprises approximately 7.5 acres of its campus, and provides an up-close look at authentic habitats of bears, bison, wolves and eagles.

To help create a sense of place, the Chicago Zoological Society, which operates Brookfield, hired Chicago Scenic Studios to create the exhibit’s signage and exhibitry. Check out a gallery of its distinctive environmental graphics that engage, inform and entertain the zoo’s approximately two million annual visitors.
