Zions Bank

Zions Bank traces its roots back to 1873, when the Church of Latter-Day Saints founded it as Utah’s first chartered bank. The Church divested its banking interests more than 50 years ago, and the current parent company, Zions Bancorporation, operates branches in 10 Western states. A Salt Lake City branch wished to offer convenience for customers, and hired Ferrari Color to produce this wrap. Judges lauded the project for its simple, effect use of text and a vividly contrasting color palette.

After having designed the wrap with Adobe Creative Suite, Ferrari Color produced it with 3M Controltac IJ180-10Cv3 white, air-release material that’s printed on an HP Scitex LX 850 latex-ink printer. The shop coated the film with 3M Scotchcal 8519 luster-finish overlaminate, which was applied with a Seal 62 Pro Series pressure laminator. The installation crew applied the material with Metro Proglide scratch-free Teflon squeegees and Bernzomatic trigger-start torches.

During the recent years’ challenging real-estate market, more homeowners have stayed put and invested in their homes. Patios and other forms of landscaping represent an expenditure that adds long-term value to a home, and yields an excellent return on investment. Vehicle wraps represent an equally efficient advertising investment.

Nale designed the program using Adobe Creative Suite, a strong color palette and easily read text, which presumably aided the job’s ROI, and submitted the graphics to wholesaler Signs365.com, which printed them on 3M Controltac air-release media that’s coated with 3M Scotchcal 8518 gloss-finish overlaminate. To enable a clean installation, Nale used a drill to remove screws from the trailer and applied the panels before replacing the hardware.

Veteran Sacramento River guide Kirk Portocarrero wanted his transport vehicles to provide an effective branding experience for his customers, outdoor enthusiasts who fish for salmon, trout and steelhead. Higett created an aquatic theme with close-ups of the fish that spark the imaginations of eager guests. The shop printed the graphics on an HP Latex 260 printer with 3M Controltac IJ180-10Cv3 air-release media. A Ledco pressure laminator applied a Scotchcal 8518 glossy topcoat to provide a sheen that evokes how light reflects off the water.
