Britten Studios Banner-Suspension System

Britten Studios (Traverse City, MI)  is unveiling BannerDrop, a ceiling-mounted, motorized hoist that lifts and displays banners in open system, and allow media to be elevated to the ceiling with the push of a button, or lowered, for easy replacement. The system, which operates on a 120VAC motor, contains a radio receiver that’s tethered to a remote control, and incorporates steel cables that measure 1/16 in. in diameter, and can carry loads up to 480 lbs. The hardware accommodates almost any banner configuration imaginable, the company states. The system’s interior houses spools that prevent tangled wires and keeps banners level.
