Caldera High-Speed RIP

Caldera (Strasbourg, France) is releasing its high-velocity C4 RIP that provides support for production and variable-data printing using the PDF/VT standard with quality, precision and stability workflow controls. The hardware platform incorporates multiple CPUs that optimize the 64-bit architecture, with RAMdisk support. The PCie 3.0 high-speed, serial-computer expansion bus provides x16 bandwidth with 10GB, Ethernet-connectivity aggregation support. Caldera says the advanced program’s algorithms work with Intel’s chipset technology, Intel-core processors and the GPU to bring fast data handling to high-end, digital-inkjet platforms.
