Canon Announces PRISMA Updates

Canon USA Inc. (Melville, NY), announces the launch of the newly revamped PRISMA Home v1.5 portal for accessing and managing Prisma cloud-based applications, according to a press release. This update offers enhanced features and tools designed to empower Canon production printing and large format customers to help their workflow processes and print production solutions.

Prisma Home serves as a centralized hub for cloud-based Prisma workflow applications and tools that customers can access and implement. The hub includes tutorials to help guide the customer through the startup process and connecting their supported printers. Prisma Home v1.5 expands the ease of on-boarding as customers can now self-activate the applications and initiate 90-day trials for certain subscriptions.

Prisma Home v1.5 features an enhanced interface and streamlined engagement. The update also comes with a new composition option and expanded printer support, according to the press release.

Applications that can be accessed in Prisma Home v1.5, including PRISMAlytics Dashboard, Prismalytics Accounting, PRISMAprepare Go and PRISMAcolor Manager, are designed for customer self-deployment. Online help resources, such as tutorials and videos, are provided for a user-friendly experience.

“Business inefficiency is a top print service provider business concern in a recent Keypoint Intelligence survey, yet only a third of our respondents own dashboard or analytics solutions,” Greg Cholmondeley, principal analyst, production workflow software and customer communication experience at Keypoint Intelligence, is quoted in the press release. “Canon’s Prisma Home v1.5 cloud platform looks to fix that.”
