Classic Neon Signs Still Glowing on Long Island

There are a dozen or so places in Long Island, NY that still light their neon signs, according to Satin Widrow, contributor to Greater Long Island. They can last “virtually forever” through the power of transformers, Widrow writes. From burger joins to coastal motels, Greater Long Island lists 12 neon signs they love. 

Satin Widrow knows a thing or more about neon signs. Her family’s business, American Neon Sign Company (Long Island, NY), has been operating since 1946.
