Colex (Elmwood Park, NJ) is introducing its COLEX Sharpcut flatbed cutter for knife cutting, creasing and routing operations that features a triple, interchangeable tool head, six-zone vacuum table and its Vision registration system that comprises a tracking camera and software.
Colex says the Sharpcut cuts sheet and rigid materials with clean and smooth edge quality. The flatbed cutting table system comprises both a fixed and oscillating knife systems and router component. A precision rack-and-pinion system drives the gantry X-Y movement and a ball-screw drive mechanism, powered by Panasonic servo moters, controls the Z-axis. The triple interchangeable tool-head station features automatic tool changes.
