ColorGate RIP Update
ColorGate (Hannover, Germany) is announcing an update of its entire RIP software line to Version 8, which comprises an Adobe PDF print engine (APPE) that features predictable print and color-reproduction results, automated PDF workflow, and output-management sets (OMS) that help customize the software. The RIP software is fully scalable via the OMS application. Every OMS set contains a category 1, 2, 3, S, M, L or P printer driver; an Adobe PDF print-engine RIP, and an optional ink-saver module.
