Gerber Scientific Products (South Windsor, CT) is announcing Water Drop Holographix™ media, a 3.7-mil, metalized-vinyl film that’s an addition to the company’s EDGE READY® media for use on the company’s Gerber EDGE® thermal-transfer printer. The material comprises a water-drop pattern and a permanent, pressure-sensitive, acrylic adhesive. The substrate may be used as a cut film, and its clear adhesive allows reverse-cut applications. According to Gerber, Water Drop Holographix may be combined with GerberColor Transparent foils to create patterns to create vivid, sparkling visuals.

The company offers the material in punched, 15-in.-wide, 10- or 50-yd.-long rolls.
