Delcam CADCAM CNC Software

Delcam (Salt Lake City) is introducing its ArtCAM Pro CADCAM modeling and CNC machining software that eases the creation of artistic, complex-design applications, especially those with similar, but not identical, repeated elements — leaves, feathers or trees, for example. The Texture Flow feature creates such organic textures as hair, fur and scales.
Delcam says the customizable software requires little knowledge of engineering or computing and allows signmakers and woodworkers to quickly design and manufacture high-quality 2- and 3-D products. Its Free Relief Modeling system allows you to select items individually or as a group and move, rotate, rescale or copy previously created reliefs.Further, any design part can be isolated, edited and recombined into a group for duplication or further edits or saves (within ArtCAM Pro’s clipart library). It also allows you view layers’ interaction in real time. Other features are straight and curved drawing vectors; add, edit or delete nodes; sculpting tools, and POV-Ray ray-tracing technology.
