SwissQprint Tandem Printer

SwissQprint (Widnau, Switzerland) has released its Nyala, 200-sq.-meter/hr., 3.2 x 1.65-meter flatbed/roll-stock, high-performance inkjet printer that features a dual-function print system. SwissQPrint says the Nyala continuous-workflow system comprises a front-load/start/print process followed by a rear-load/start/print process. In action, the CMYK (or dual CMYK) printhead gantry reverses and continues the printing process as each job is completed. SwissQprint says the machine’s two vacuum zones allow nonstop processing and reduce production times up to 35%. The images can be identical or different.
