Gemini Inc. (Cannon Falls, MN), a manufacturer of letters, logos and plaques, earned Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Safety and Health Recognition Program (SHARP) Award for its manufacturing facility in Decorah, IA. In September, Iowa OSHA Consultation recertified the facility, which produced acrylic sheet, cast letters and plaques, metal-laminate letters and injection-molded and injection-formed letters, for SHARP certification.

Jet Tran, Gemini’s safety and environmental officer, said, “We believe safety is our responsibility inside and outside the plant, and we continually seek ways to improve. We are very appreciative of the support and assistance by … OSHA. The input and resources they’ve provided have helped Gemini develop an effective and comprehensive safety program.” According to Gemini, it uses earth-friendly materials and processes to fabricate its products.
