Digital-Signage Software

Planar Systems (Beaverton, OR) is debuting its CoolSign 4.0 digital-signage software, which offers enterprise scalability to scale up a few or thousands of digital-signage players without impacting content delivery. The first digital-signage software platform to integrate with Google Calendar and Doc applications also includes frame synchronization to show video content across multiple displays, the company states.

Planar also is announcing the availability of new content templates to assist customers who lack dedicated design resources or are new to digital-signage projects. The templates provide multiple, easily updated and dynamic ads to fill frequently rotating schedules.
