E Ink Display

E Ink Corp. (Billerica, MA) is announcing a 32-in. (diagonal) display that incorporates its ePaper ultra-low-power, cordless technology. It is approximately 25X the size of the display in an eReader. The new display is targeted primarily for DS applications or information kiosks. It’s available in black and white and color modules. The display features 2,560 x 1,440 resolution of 2560 X 1440 and measures 27.75 x 15.75 in. at 94 DPI. It’s designed to enable the deployment of DS in areas that were not possible using standard emissive displays.
